| Hint: Save thousands by using a fax machine. Fax a description of your desired car to all the dealers within 200 miles and request a quote. You can go as far as you are willing to drive. What ever you do don't include your phone number at this point. You will get phone calls from sales people but few quotes. Once you have all the quotes take the best one and fax it to the others that are in the ball park. Ask them if they can do better. Keep doing this until you get the price down as far as you can.
